Ambassadors Fall Showcase

Being selected to be apart of the Ambassador show choir has been the highlight of Natalie’s year. It has enriched her vocal training and increased her confidence not only as a vocalist but as a teammate. I am so proud of how she is constantly pushing herself to the next level and bravely walking into areas that are new and […]

Happy Birthday Khyrie

Happy Birthday to my son-in love. He has had a great year, career wise, and in family, God is blessing! He has big dreams for the future and I look forward to watching him accomplish them. So proud of who he is as a young man, spouse and father.

Wisdoms Removed

My Jordan is the most logical, serious guy in the tribe so whenever we can catch him in moments of silliness, it gives the rest of us great pleasure. It doesn’t happen often but when he had to get his wisdom teeth removed we knew we had prime opportunity to catch him in some funny moments. I was very impressed […]

We Won’t Forget

Natalie’s choir took part in a memorial ceremony on 9/11. We will not forget. Prayers for our countries continued healing. For the families who lost loved ones. For the safety and protection of our country. For the men and women serving to protect. For love and peace to reign. In Jesus name. God bless America.

Cooking Pains

I STRONGLY dislike the process of cooking. For the first 22 years of marriage my husband did most of the cooking because he loves it and he is an amazing chef. We had a great thing going until he switched careers, which decreased his after work flexibility. That left me to cook. (Que the violin) Normally I look at a […]

GMama Pajama Party

This is how we do it. Dates with the g-babies are an event. We sang, danced, read books and I taught Kenna how to play Old Maid. I was so worried that Nomi would cry with her mama not being in sight but she did great and get big sister kept her entertained.

Birthday Breakfast

We made brunch for Tori’s birthday. The whole tribe (and a few adopted members) swarmed her home for a few hours. Ironically as I was thinking about what to say about my oldest I came across a draft in my blog that I had written for her birthday ten years ago. How crazy (and perfect) is time?! To my 16 […]

Happy Birthday Victoria

To my kindhearted, analytical, creative and intelligent daughter. I love the fun we have on our many mission impossible shopping trips. I love that other people can see your heart. I love your singing voice, (where did that come from?) I love your patience with your siblings. I love how you love Jesus. I love when you sing me songs […]

Jordan is 21

It is never going to make sense, seeing my little’s become adults. Jordan has officially joined the ranks! The transition from teen to adult appeared smooth to me although he may tell a different story.  Jordan has always seemed like a young/old man to me. I remember holding him only a couple of hours after his birth and looking […]

Black Panther

Lead us to Wakanda! It was an event just walking in to the movie theaters to watch the film. So many people dressed in their Dashiki’s, others with shoulders layered in colorful Kente cloth. My favorite character… Okoye. A warrior after my heart. We were enamored. Wakanda Forever!

New P.E. routine

One challenge for us in the midst of all of our running to and fro between home-school coops and classes is finding consistent time for physical activity. We decided to add in a little gym time to the schedule. Kobe enjoyed lifting weights though I think the workout got the best of him in the end.
