Life is gritty, messy, chaotic and imperfect. I want to remember every moment of it!

Jordan decided to join the wrestling team at his high school this year. I think his interest built from his new love for Jujitsu. It has been fun watching him embrace a new sport. I have been impressed with the amount of practice hours and conditioning he has put into developing the skills of a wrestler. Along with the joy of a new sport my poor Jordan has recently experienced the pain. During one of the teams practice sessions Jordan was attempting to get out of a hold one of his teammates had locked him in. During the process his left knee cap was dislocated. Seeing his knee sitting in the wrong location of his leg was quite disturbing but it was nothing compared to watching the ER doc snap it back into place. The worst hurt in the world is to see my child in pain. He is recovering well (and rather grudgingly) with doctor ordered rest, brace and crutches.
