A Tribe Called Whitlock

I can’t believe my Tres is 20 years old.  He has become such an amazing young man.  I have watched him over the past few years become bold and unapologetic in his communication, his lyrics and life.  He stands unmoving for what he believes in.  He had to write a statement about himself for one of his classes and this is what he said:
Christian music lover who writes rap music to bring light and hope to the misfits and
 the outcasts. I will never give up on my dreams. I will never stop fighting for my people’s rights. #Mr. Overcomer.
I could never say it better than he can.  It is such a pleasure to watch him grow into the man God created him to be.  I will sit and watch as he changes the world.

Tres spent most of his birthday hangin’ with his big sis at the movies and then their favorite sibling date spot Steak n’ Shake.
