I am sure you have heard me say this before but I love the 4Th of July. I am the mom that makes everyone dress in red, white and blue and search for the best fireworks display in town. Natalie and I even went and had flags put on our toes. Unfortunately for us this year it poured the whole day and they canceled the show. We still had a blast hanging out at the Aquarium downtown. Keanna was here visiting, which of course made the day even better!
Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
I love spending time with the Whitlock crew!! There’s never a dull moment and we’re pretty good at creating our own fire works!! =)
