A Tribe Called Whitlock

I would have never thought a place with thousands of tomb stones would offer a serene, peaceful environment. Arlington National Cemetery was beautiful. The respectfully quite pathways were lined with tourist, yet you barely heard a sound. I never had to tell Natalie and Kobe to lower their voices. They observed the quiet atmosphere, seen the serious faces and settled down. Maurice was excited to find the headstones for Joe Lewis and Benjamin Davis. The changing of the guard ceremony before the tomb of the unknown soldier’s was a stirring display of reverence and respect.
