A Tribe Called Whitlock

My friend April and I went to the Extraordinary Women Conference a few weeks ago. It was amazing. Thousands of women in one building all with the desire to draw closer to God. The conference theme was “Free to be Real!” The speakers were Candice Cameron Bure (D.J. from Full House), Stormie Omartian (author of Power of a Praying wife, ect), Chondra Peirce (christian comedian), Angela Thomas (well known for her books on being a single mother),Kathy Troccoli (christian music artist), and Michael O’Brian (christian music artist). The president of the E conferences , Julie Clinton was inspiring. I was amazed by her 19 year old daughter Megan who has started a conference series for teens and has written a book titled “Totally God’s.” Each speaker in her own way is walking and talking the ‘set apart’ lifestyle that I spoke of earlier. I love how when God wants us to move he provides all the resources and encouragement we need to take the appropriate steps.
