Life is gritty, messy, chaotic and imperfect. I want to remember every moment of it!
Hiking Adventures
This morning I got up and decided we needed some sun and exercise. I have been wanting to explore more of the state parks in our area. We went to Lower Hillsborough Wilderness Reserve. On the website it said it was open but the area along the river was closed off which was a bummer because that’s were the alligators are. Natalie shared a trick she learned at school when out in wildlife. Instead of crying out when a snake or critter is spotted, you say, “Look at that peanut butter!” Kobe was mesmerized by the weeds growing furry pink blooms. It was a fun hike and felt good to be out roaming together again.
Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
