Life is gritty, messy, chaotic and imperfect. I want to remember every moment of it!

For Spring Break Jordan flew to D.C. to spend time with his Aunt Keanna. It was his first solo flight and first time being away from home for so long. He was ready for the adventure. Jordan and Nan are two peas in a pod and had a wonderful time bonding during their week together. He is thinking about going into accounting and since Nan is an accountant she was able to take him to her office a few days during his stay to get a glimpse of what it would be like to work in finance. The time she spent with him made an impact not only with his thoughts about the future but also with “belonging.” He and Keanna connect in a wonderful way because they are both logic minded introverts. She gets him like no other. I can imagine the peace he had getting a week away from all the loud extroverts that make up our family. I’m so glad he was able to have the opportunity and very grateful for Keanna taking the time to make the trip a meaningful experience for him. He will not forget it.
