Natalie and Kobe started piano lessons at the beginning of the year.  They are both loving their instructors and lessons.  I love how playing an instrument exposes kids to different genres of music and gives them a real appreciation for the kind of beauty music can bring to life.  Their recital was in May and Natalie played a jazzy number called Ragtime Magic and Kobe played the intro to Stars Wars complete with a Jedi mask.  Kobe really wants to play the drums but I am going to wait to add them until he gets in fifth grade. Natalie will start band this year and I am not sure what instrument she will decide on.  Jordan played the violin and drums, Tori plays the guitar and Tres writes songs.  Pretty soon I think we should be able to start a traveling street band.

Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life.
