Our fourth of July celebration topped the cake as our biggest and best.  We had Mo’s coworkers over, my good friend Nicole and her daughters, our neighbors and my cousins Tab, Bam and Journey Bug. The house was packed just perfectly with friends and family. Maurice has become quite a fireworks display artist and put on a noteworthy production.  There were a few times we were scared for our lives but HEY, what’s a good firework show without a little fear for survival?

Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
