Life is gritty, messy, chaotic and imperfect. I want to remember every moment of it!

Tres second hospitalization for a pneumothorax hit him very hard emotionally and physically. He was tired, anxious and drained from 3 weeks of overwhelming obstacles. Normally he has this amazingly bright smile on his face and a “I can do anything” attitude. After he came home he was just not himself, which of course we all understood. We wanted to put a smile on his face so we called his friends over for a surprise party. It was just what the doctor ordered. I knew the social butterfly in him would not remain dormant once his friends started flowing threw the door. Happy Tres=Mission Accomplished.
