The weekend after Natalie’s birthday we had a sleepover with the friends she plays with in our neighborhood.  We made pizza, took a late night walk along the bay and even went as a group to Walmart.  It was quite funny seeing people’s faces as I walked in at 10:30 p.m. with my entourage.  We needed more snacks and that was the only place still open!  They partied hard and did not go to bed until….sigh…about 3:30 a.m.  It will probably take until next year for me to be ready for the next slumber party.

Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
