A Tribe Called Whitlock

The weekend of Spring Break Tres Challenger baseball team had a tournament in Clearwater.  Teams from all over our county came together to play.  The atmosphere was so exciting with bounce houses, face painting, pop corn stands and snow cones.  Tres just loves this team.  Each child is paired with a partner who helps them make the plays for the game.  They cheer each other on and it is such a positive experience.  He grins and laughs through the whole game and loves all the high fives from his coach and team and “Go Tres Man!” hollers coming from the crowd.  The best benefit for me is being around other parents who have a child with a disability and sharing ideas and resources.  I am so grateful for the Challengers.
