It was a typical Saturday afternoon when I walked by the door and had to take a pic. Shoes everywhere, none of them owned by my own children. Our house is the meeting place for the kids on the block. Maurice and I don’t mind, in fact we love it. It is a great way to get to know their friends and listen in on the topics being discussed when they are “hanging out”. All the kids are great at following the house rules once they know them. Pictured here is one of our standard protocols in the house…”Take your shoes off at the front door.”
