Weedon Island Preserve used to be occupied by Indigenous peoples for thousands of years. Now it is a beautiful nature preserve to Florida native plants and animals. The Cultural and Natural History Center has great hands on learning activities that are interesting to all age groups. My favorite are the gorgeous boardwalks and trails.

Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
