My poor husbands birthday did not go according to plan. He took off the day to relax and ended up not sitting down all day. His very special birthday dinner went awry. We did not have enough flour for the cake. No biggy though cause Tori had made yellow cake cupcakes with chocolate frosting (his favorite) so we could improvise. Then his smothered chicken dinner burnt (from me trying to do too many things at once) so that had to be modified as well. It was very difficult putting 30 something candles on his cupcake. As you can see from the picture things got a little foggy for a minute! Don’t feel too bad for him though, I took him to his favorite restaurant to make up for it.
Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
