Jordan Maurice Whitlock is now a teenager. Sigh….my children are making me seem old. LOL. He is my introvert. He has his group that he likes to hang out with […]
I am sure you have heard me say this before but I love the 4Th of July. I am the mom that makes everyone dress in red, white and blue and search for the best fireworks display in town. Natalie and I even went and had flags put on our toes. Unfortunately for us this year it poured the whole […]
So we were all sitting around avoiding the outdoors because it was so darn hot. I heard the distant crackle of thunder…”Yes!” I said, “I have been waiting for a […]
Grandma Rocha always gets to hear about our adventures at MOSI and this summer she got to experience the fun first hand. We could stay there all day and pretty much did. The guys ditched us a few hours into our day to watch Iron Man in the IMAX theater. They soo missed out. http://w733.photobucket.com/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http%3A%2F%2Fw733.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fww334%2Fwhitlock54%2F0488a24f.pbw
Grandma Rocha spent 3 weeks with us this summer! Her stay was such a huge help for me. Working from home is great but summer means more time trying to balance working full time and seeing to the kids needs. Melinda eased me into the transition and I am so grateful for that time she spent with us. The days […]
Jordan had a baseball game while all the family was down which was great because they don’t ever get to see him play. It was a very hot day and […]

There was tons of good food all prepared in love by the hands of our talented family chefs. I was so proud of myself up to this point for keeping my emotions under control and not shedding a tear. I have been preparing myself for about a year, knowing that […]
All through graduation week I kept thinking about that Dr. Seuss book. It just fit with my thoughts and feelings preparing for Tori’s big day. Pride at her accomplishments thus far. Excitement about all the possibilites and options she will have. Fear at knowing my time of being able to direct her is ending. I know my influence will still […]
Some of us decided take a walk after one of our many large meals. We strolled down to the bay and took pictures on the bridge. A relaxed and stress […]
Sunday before graduation those who traveled in early came to church services with us. It was quite a bombardment on our little church. Everyone seemed to have a good time. […]
On Friday as family begin trickling in we all went to a Jamaican restaurant. Live music and jerk chicken set the mood for lots of laughs and great conversation. We are loud by nature so we had to make sure we found a restaurant that would match our acoustic level. We did not get kicked out so the night was […]
Victoria’s graduation week was all about love, laughter, warm embraces, food and fun. My cup was running over. The memories of it still make me smile. We had SO many family […]
Here is the team pics for Jordan’s Little League baseball team. He has grown so much on the field. Maurice laughs at me when I discover new character building traits […]
We had Natalie’s 7 birthday party at the Youth Center. Our theme was “Red Carpet Event.” We ordered most of the stuff from Oriental Trading Co. and it was all […]
