Life is gritty, messy, chaotic and imperfect. I want to remember every moment of it!
Unexpected Goodbyes
Repost from Tori’s Facebook because it’s easier to use her words right now than to express the heartache in my own. This pandemic has caused so much separation and isolation. We can’t go home. So many unsaid goodbyes.
My grandfather died on Friday. Our family does everything big, births are big, holidays are big, funerals are big. We couldn’t celebrate Easter together, or mourn my Grandfather together. It’s hard to not be able to be together or travel home. Please keep our family in prayer.
Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
