My 18-year-old is completing his required number of driving hours to be able to get his license. I am using his requirement to my advantage. He has been driving me around quite a bit lately. He has such high expectations of himself and gets frustrated with not making the smoothest stop or perfectly parking in between the lines. I often have to give him permission to be normal. A plus is that we have been able to spend more bonding time together and we have already logged away some funny memories of his beginning drivers learning curve.
Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
