The next few post will be stocked full of pics of our trip back to Kansas. We went back home for Thanksgiving. It had been 2 years since our last visit. I am not sure I can describe the feeling of just utter happiness I felt surrounded by our very big family. I praise God for the memories and wonderful times laughing, hugging, playing, hunting (not me!), remembering and of course eating.

Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
