The day we dropped Tori off at her doorms was filled with anxious excitement. Waiting in ridiculously long lines with the other parents during the dorm sign in process was far from fun but Journey bug entertained us. Thankfully Tori’s boyfriend Bryan and her friend Brandi’s boyfriend were there..they carried all her belonging up the 6 flights of stairs to her room to avoid the long waits at the elevator. It was surprisingly fun helping her put away her things and organizing her new living space. She is in a area that is filled with culture rich activities. She already joined the Christian group that meets on campus and has made lots of new friends. Driving away I felt quiet and peaceful inside. I realized, I am going to be all right. So will she!

Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
