Grandma Rocha spent 3 weeks with us this summer! Her stay was such a huge help for me. Working from home is great but summer means more time trying to balance working full time and seeing to the kids needs. Melinda eased me into the transition and I am so grateful for that time she spent with us. The days were spent creating, painting, reading, going on walks and just being there in the ways that grandparents know how to do best.

Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
