While Maurice and I were out looking for Christmas presents the kids prepared a surprise for me! They baked me a cake and decorated the kitchen. When I walked in they shouted “surprise“! I started crying. Not the response the were looking for. LOL Natalie assured Kobe, “those are tears of joy”. They are so precious. Maurice made sure I had my favorite cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. It was such a wonderful day.

Welcome! Legacy is everything to me. I created this blog as a reminder to my tribe of the story of us and my history with God. To my tribe, I know there will be mountains and valleys. Dark nights when you feel alone. In all my years, the one constant that has remained the same is the faithfulness of God. He always reminds me when I am going through battle, to remember our history. His and mine. If I leave you with nothing else, know that the God I serve was present, relevant, and powerful in every moment of my life. I pray you lean not on your own understanding, but yield your life to His capable hands. He keeps His promises.
