There should be a training schedule to prepare your feet for the amount of walking it requires to sight see in D.C. The Smithsonian museums take up about 3 city blocks. By day 4 my poor children did not even want to hear the word museum. During the beginning of one trip Natalie said her feet were sad because of all the walking they had to do. By the end of the day she decided that they were not just sad but down right angry. We unanimously agreed. Back in the car we tiredly fell asleep before even getting on the highway that would start the trek back to Nan’s.
